I'm here to help you build a partnership with your dog through foundation training
It's never too early or too late to build the skills your dog needs for a lifetime of everyday adventures
Check out the variety of services I love offering! Classes are small, with just 3–5 teams, so you get the attention you deserve. Each class runs about 60-90 minutes. Location depends on the season, class size, and type of training — it might be in my training room, outside at my residence, at a local park, or even at a pet-friendly store.
I have had the privilege of learning from trainers across a wide range of specialties. I will never claim to know it all, but if you would like to talk through what you need, I am happy to help. If I’m not the right fit, I will gladly & honestly point you in the right direction!
The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy (Socialization, Training, Activity, and a Responsible owner) is a 6 week program that helps young dogs build a strong foundation. It focuses on early socialization, basic manners, and setting puppies up for a lifetime of learning.
This is great next step for dogs who have a solid foundation in manners. It focuses on building reliable skills at home and in public, like polite greetings, loose-leash walking through crowds, and staying calm around distractions. CGC is a great goal for pet owners who want to earn a certificate (or title) and show off their dog’s hard work!
Many pet owners are looking for a well-mannered dog they can enjoy at home & in public. 'Well-mannered' means something a little different to everyone, but the basics usually include: walking nicely on a leash, coming when called, and greeting people without jumping, and more.
The AKC Trick Dog program is a fun and easy way to keep your dog thinking and learning. Teaching tricks helps give dogs a sense of purpose, keeps them mentally balanced, and strengthens your bond. Tricks can be simple or advanced, but the real goal is to have fun together and keep your dog’s mind happy and active.
Now that you and your dog have built a solid foundation, Rally-Obedience is a fun way to put it to work! In Rally, you and your dog move together through a course, following signs that call for different skills and exercises. It’s all about communication, teamwork, and having fun while using everything you’ve learned so far.
Training doesn’t have to end after the basics. Many owners want to keep learning, building new skills, and having fun with their dogs. They just need a little structure and guidance. Ongoing classes and 1:1 sessions give you the chance to customize your training goals, focus on what matters most to you, and keep growing as a team.
