How It Works

You’ll attend an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class for at least 6 weeks. At the end of the course, I will give the S.T.A.R. Puppy test. When you and your puppy pass, you’ll receive an application to send to the AKC for your official title/certificate.

All puppies are welcome up to 12 months of age. AKC registration is not a requirement.

What You Get

After passing the test and submitting your paperwork you’ll receive:

• An official AKC title or certificate 

• The official AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy medal

• Your name and your puppy’s name in the AKC records

• Your puppy isn't registered? NO PROBLEM! You'll still get a certificate of completion!
